The contemporary section of the book is lauched by the work of Diane Arbus: it presents some 20 photographers who explored various photographic traditions in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Assembled from major public and private collections, the selection features newly discovered photographs as well as classic examples. The pictures include landscape, still life, the nude and portraiture, but documentary, architectural and fashion photography are here as well.
